History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dustin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Dustin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Diggory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Animal Trainer, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Rurik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is his passion

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.
