Through the years after Emerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Dazzazn was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has never given up on her dancing dream.
