History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Gerard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
