Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Emerald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Harbek was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her parents enrolled her in a Adept school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Donella was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Donella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
