History: Maiathah was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peter. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Salanop never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
