History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Jocelyn was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and regain custody of her daughter

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
