History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Tod was taken on many hunting expeditions. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
