History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Megged and his spouse have recently divorced.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
