History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Paggen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Paggen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Ar-Gul lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Bather. He has achieved small success as a Bather.
