Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Ruler, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a Sellsword first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to be a healer again

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is greedy

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her first spouse was a Locksmith, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
