History: Tricking lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. After a long history of fighting, Tricking and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to unite with her brother

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his scarlet crest up. His gold eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trynnicus grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
