He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Dalaba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolen embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolen grew up listening to his father's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Rolen took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Map Maker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
