History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Fonkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to prove his worth to the world

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and to be a stylist again

History: Zaffrab lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
