Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Barbena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against brigands

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His blue hair is thinning but still full. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: Skamos is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Syllin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: She wears dark leathers with embroidery. She carries a battered dagger and tarnished scimitar as well. Her tied-back hair is black. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: Lidda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lidda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She has styled her black fur well, parting it to the right. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Shifting took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

History: Carlin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Carlin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
