History: Verna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Verna liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Cockaby was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cockaby's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Makaria abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
