History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Nija was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: Born in the west to a Priest, Tanglar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.
