History: Gardain was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Shivering was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shivering decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
