After coming to the age of reason, Gorbundus took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a great chef.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nija was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Fletcher, but she got bored and became a Sellsword. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fletcher. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she's in love

History: Born in the west to a Crown-heir, Jak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Crown-heir responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
