History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oppleby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born in the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trail was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
