Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Leaf is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Leaf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a Dyer, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise her children well

History: Born in the east to a Animal Trainer, Tod learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her white hair is lengthy. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Jeweler for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Being a Performer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
