Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. She has a very tight haircut. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Veloptima embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Veloptima was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Veloptima and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and wants to work out more often

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.
History: She got into the Marshal business at a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was born in the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is content; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has decided he is irredeemable
