History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hadwisa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
