History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Bardryn's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
