History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Baelitae was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Baelitae decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
