History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mâku grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mâku. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Thava hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and seeks redemption

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the south to a Soapmaker, Jezebeth learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Irann was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.
