History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Jacoba was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jacoba's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
