Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the west. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
