History: Harriet was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Harriet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Harriet. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He got into the Junk Dealer business at a young age. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Laborer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
