Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Valorean began to lead the lost caravan. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alvyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Alvyn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
