History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Xappan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Xappan. After a long history of fighting, Xappan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a Gardener, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Drusilia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Ogthrak learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Mortician and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult
