History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Birel grew up listening to her mother's many stories. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sword use. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Gomory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Gomory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
