History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Torbera grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Torbera. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
