History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Verin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
