History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Philomena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Mumpena and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Vaina was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: He is typically in his Cook uniform. He carries with him a set of flails, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He is a Cook first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
