Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Animal Trainer born in the past three hundred years. Harbek is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jebeddo is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He has worked as a Mayor like his mother before him.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her flail with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her brown hair is still thick. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
