He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bather.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to be a layabout again

History: She was born into a rich family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. History: She was born into a rich family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels kind of lost in life
