Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Luthra took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
