History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His first spouse was a Roofer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Giselle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
