History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Mardred abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Thradal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mortician.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against orcs

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Henry grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he is greedy

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gesrethe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gesrethe. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
