History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Valida was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Valida took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Valida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Brug is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and he has money and likes to spend it
