History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Smoking was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Smoking never married again.
