History: Rolen was born with his father's beautiful face. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Neega was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Neega's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and doesn't want to be a unemployed and was forced into it by her family
