History: He was born in the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Personality: Matilda hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Matilda was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Akmen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and money/treasure

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has never given up on his singing dream.
