History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Faran was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
