He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Animal Trainer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has never given up on her writing dream.
