However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Reynard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Callie was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Callie's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.
