History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
