History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Cockaby and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sammal was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aust embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a interpreter and was forced into it by his family

Aura grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aura. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.
