Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Being a Mayor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Az-Adar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Apothecary who has hired her part-time. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Apothecary, and she later adopted a second son.

Jarana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
