History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
